UN PORTRAIT HABITÉ DE LA CITÉ, alliances françaises de CHINE 2017 (english below)
Marc Goldstain, artiste et performeur international (Brésil, USA, Europe), lauréat du prix Renoir, expose un " portrait réaliste et subjectif " de la ville chinoise lors du "tour manager" dans les alliances française de Chine en septembre 2017.
Ce projet interactif en Chine fait suite à celui de Brasilia en 2015. Il comporte une conférence, un atelier de peinture avec " pleine présence " et une exposition de la peinture de Marc Goldstain.
La conférence explore le parcours de l'artiste dans sa relation avec la méditation et apprend au spectateur comment ressentir une peinture autrement.
Puis un atelier pour expérimenter la "peinture de pleine présence" avec un "entraînement" corporel doux (relaxation, gestuelle douce). Les personnes ont été guidées pour peindre un plan schématique de leur quartier. Ensuite, elles ont posé pour l'artiste, et leurs portraits ont été exposés avec leurs plans et les peintures de paysages urbains.
Les photo ci-dessous montrent les peintures- portraits et paysages réalisées durant cette résidence, ainsi que quelques photo de performances.
Marc Goldstain, international artist and performer (Brazil, USA, Europe), winner of the Renoir Prize, exhibits a "realistic and subjective portrait" of the Chinese city during the "tour manager" in the French alliances of China in September 2017.
This interactive project in China follows the one in Brasilia in 2015. It includes a lecture, a painting workshop with "full presence" and an exhibition of Marc Goldstain's painting.
The lecture explores the artist's journey in his relationship with meditation and teaches the viewer how to experience a painting differently.This will be followed by a workshop to experience "painting with presence" with a gentle body "training" (relaxation, gentle gestures). People were guided to paint a schematic map of their neighborhood. Then, they posed for the artist, and their portraits were exhibited with their plans and the urban landscape paintings.

Un portrait habité de Brasilia, Brésil 2015 (english below)
Le projet à Brasilia s'est déroulé pendant six semaines à l'alliance française (Voir au dessus celui de Chine pour les différentes étapes. Cette résidence à donné lieu à quinze grands portraits (1,70 x 1m) réalisé sur plusieurs jours, et à vingt cinq petits portraits réalisés en une matinée comme un marathon peint! Enfin Marc Goldstain a peint cinq peintures de paysages urbain, faisant référence à la vie quotidienne et à l'architecture d' Oscar Niemeyer.
The project in Brasilia took place for six weeks at the Alliance Française (See the one in China for differents steps). This residency resulted in fifteen large portraits (1.70 x 1m) made over several days, and twenty-five small portraits made in one morning like a painting marathon! Finally Marc Goldstain painted five urban landscape paintings, referring to the daily life and architecture of Oscar Niemeyer.
Residency in european hospital ap-hp George Pompidou

Pendant un an, Marc Goldstain s'est rendu à l'Hôpital européen Georges Pompidou, dans le service de drépanocytose du Professeur Pachoux. Patients et soignants ont joué le jeux de la pose pour une série de portraits. Ils ont aussi participé aux ateliers interractif alliant méditation et peinture. Les photos sont extraites de cette véritable "résidence artistique".
For one year, Marc Goldstain went to the Georges Pompidou European Hospital, in Professor Pachoux's sickle cell disease department. Patients and caregivers played the game of posing for a series of portraits. They also participated in interractive workshops combining meditation and painting. The photos are extracted from this real "artistic residence".

Marc Goldstain a résidé six semaines à l'alliance française de belo horizonte en 2013; Il y a réalisé une peinture murale, ainsi qu'une série de peinture de paysage urbain sur le motif.
